A new plant from Angus Stewart’s kangaroo paw breeding, Anigozanthos Landscape Lime is from the Tall and Tough range, making them a perfect landscaping addition. They suit most soils including clay and can be grown in sun to part shade, though higher light levels give the best flowering. They bloom in spring with multi branched stems of lime green, which attract birds to the garden. They are also terrific cut flowers with their glowing green colouring and long lasting blooms. Simply cut the old stems down after flowering finished to neaten the plant. Feed in spring with any good fertiliser, as they are not phosphorous sensitive. They are drought and light frost tolerant once established. If heavier frost blackens the foliage, simply wait till all danger of further frost is over and cut damaged parts back to the ground. The plant will re sprout from the underground rhizome, with healthy fresh growth.
H: Flower stems 1.2 W:1m can be kept smaller by pruning.
